This is an Emby problem, not DVBLink.

I'm also testing Emby myself for local video and IPTV content, so I understand your problem and have seen several topics on Emby forum, describing your issue. So look there, AFTER you have checked that this channel in VLC, gives you the option to select audio tracks.

Hi

i know what you are saying but i depends on how you look at it
if DVB iptv server had an option to select the default audio Track, that i think would be a good idea
and i did post on emby the same time as i did here.
so maybe this should be a feature request

Well, if you have DVBLink channels in Emby, DVBLink sends them "As is", meaning if a channel has sub/audio tracks, DVBLink will send all to Emby.
When an Emby client doesn't support specific features, like for example selecting audiotracks, than you are bound to that and their is nothing DVBLink can do about these specifics of the client you are playing the DVBLink channels in, because all Emby clients have its own specific format and feature support.

The DVBLink player client has all the features you need, for selecting subs/audio, even as the DVBlink PVR in Kodi and other media players/servers supporting the DVBLink PVR.
And new features for DVBLink will probably not be implemented, because all development has shifted to TVMosaic.

So again, you will have to find your answer on the Emby forums.

Hi
i dont think that i have made myself clear
i know emby like the back of my hand i am not a novice so i know how to change audio tracks
second the server the emby one is a big server with 128 cores and loads of ram used by about 200 people

emby can't auto select the audio track because until the stream has started to play it doesn't know how many tracks there are by then it is to late it just plays the first one
plus if someone decides to record a channel there is no option to choose witch audio track it will record so you just get the first one a real pain

so the only way i can see is to have a setting in dvblink iptv server to be able to select witch audio track to transmit over the lan.

it should be so easy on a per channel bases ( just select audio track 1 - 2 - 3 etc )

the reason i say transmit over the lan is because the dvblink iptv server is setup on a different Machine to the emby server but right next to each other and connected with two 1 gig lan cables so the emby server is setup with M3U files from the dvblink iptv server
i hope this makes things a bit clearer
thanks

You are right, I completely missed that your are using the "DVBLink for IPTV Server" package, instead of the "DVBLink for IPTV" package...

Best to open a ticket directly at DVBLOgic support for this question, because the forum is more becoming a userbased helpdesk the last year.
