Discussions about TVMosaic Android app - as a standalone app and as a DVBLink client

great work!

Hey @Oberon, this is great work. I tired it out tponight and it actually looks pretty good.
My only comments are;
- channel logos - is there a way to get them in somehow?
- If watching livetv, its great to press the back button to get to the EPG and then see the EPG overlay the live TV.
- TV buffer. - we tried to watch a recorded TV program and the fast forward seemed to get messed up somehow - it was almost like some sort of ring buffer was eceeded and the program went back to the start. I haven't played around with this enough to comment properly.
- Channel font size - the channels fonts are nice and big but it would be great to select the number of channels per page.

the frame rate issues (which used to cause me so much grief with Kodi) are now resolved, so channels start within a few seconds of selecting which is great even on 576i!

Nice work @dvblogic!

Channel logos should just work. Are there any requests for channel logos in dvblink log file?..

Regarding navigation in time-shift buffer. TVMosaic server and DVBLink server have a bit different definitions of "the end of the buffer". That's why sometimes it can lead to the effects that you have observed. It is on our to do list for a fix.

The two other things - number of channels and epg overlay are not planned at the moment.

This is playing video so much better then the other Android TV apps. Fast starting and sharp picture. Great. With me, logo's are showing up like they should. My only problem now:

I see no recorded TV. The circle is on my screen for a long time, but nothing happens

We would need remote access to your DVBLink installation. I just sent a PM to you.

I'll like to echo the "great work" and out of all the options I've tried tv mosaic is the one I like most at the moment.

I also have issues with the ff and rewind, but not just in live streams, it also doesn't seem to work too well in recordings. For example, I'll keep pressing "right" to ff and it'll be moving forward on the timeline, then it'll jump back to somewhere earlier in the stream.

If there's anything I can provide to help, let me know.

any update on this? we've switched back to Kodi until reliable time shifting is available in TVMosaic.

If you need any remote access to my server I could set you up to help with this. It's my main reason for not using it at the moment for anything recorded

works well for me as a DVBLink client on FireTV 2. UI is so much better than DVBLink app. Is this version still be worked on, and can you add it to the Amazon App Store ? (It seems good enough in its current state to be in the store, better than using Kodi or DVBLink app for me). I'd love a UWP TVMosiac app for Xbox One and Windows! I've always found DVBLink Server good and reliable - polished client apps make the experience so much better and make it easier to recommend a DVBLink solution to friends etc. Personally I wouldn't mind paying for client apps if it meant more polished apps like TVMosaic and more frequent updates.
