TVButler / TV Source UK Tuning Failed on all channels

Terrestrial ariel which works fine with normal TV and with Plex / TVButler.

I have repeatedly scanned UK full frequrency range and get Tuning Failed message on all frequencies. There is also nothing shown on the signal strenght or qualitiy graphs for any frequency. Its like the TVButler stick is not seeing the ariel.

The TVButler stick works with Plex server Version 1.8.0.4109 on the same Mac and finds 175 channels so the hardware is working. However the Plex DVR software is not reliable and I thought DVB Logic would be better.

I am not very familiar with DVBLogic and am not very techie on the Mac, if anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful.

Try to disable Plex (or fully remove it if you do not use it), then connect tuner to the MAC, and conduct a new scan in DVBLink. Results?

I have the same setup with macOS 10.12.6 and Plex server.

I am getting the exact same thing happening with my tuning which fails on all. I am not about to remove Plex which doesn't utilise the TVButler unless configured to.

Please get back an inform us how to fix the issue. I just spent 49 Euros on this an am not very happy!

Regarding a Plex software please write to Plex Forum or Plex support.

I am not enquiring re Plex I am telling you that Plex doesn't use the Butler unless configured to do so.
macOS will not use something unless configure to do so (unlike Windows with services etc.)

Plex is currently not setup for the tuner.

DVBLink software sees the tuner but doesn't find channels... very annoying broken poorly ported software.

Please fix instead of pointing to Plex which is not the issue!

If not I demand a refund of the 49 euro for my DVBLink server which doesn't work and also is not transferable to a Windows license.

Pretty poor wouldn't you agree?!
