[Solved] Unable to playback recorded and live

Hi All,

I am having issues playing back both recorded TV and live TV from Kodi. When I try from my PC, using the DVBLink webpage, both work fine.

I have attached the Kodi.log, playback started just after 18:57.

Please let me know of any additional needed.

Raspberry PI 2 B
Openelec 5.0.8
Kodi 14.2
DVBLink 1.19.1
QNAP TS-221
DVBLink Server/TVSource 5.5.0
HDHomeRun

Try to reset the PVR database. (System -> Settings -> TV -> General -> clear data)
Does the RPI in the same subnetwork as the NAS and the PC?

Yes the RPI is on the same subnet as both the NAS and the PC.

Then, please, check the PVR settings once more. If you get the channel list, but you can't watch any of the channels, just try to disable the transcoding/timeshifting, be sure that you do not use the login/passwd (if you do, just check it once more).

Or make an update to the latest Openelec [Stable] OpenELEC 6.0.1.

Well I have previously checked and double checked the settings, enabled/disabled transcoding and/or timeshifting etc.

The login credentials check out (i suppose) because the list of recordings is shown, only without thumbnail, and as mentioned nothing happens when pressing play.

Do you know, when updating OpenELEC, do I need to redo the whole Kodi setup? - If you don't fair enough, I'll find a description somewhere online

Please, give the log files from the DVBLink server, just set log level to info, restart dvblink server, wait up to 20 minutes, reproduce the issue and attach zipped log files here.

Managed to update to OpenELEC 6.0.1 and Kodi 15.2, after Kodi wouldn't start due to DB updates not working.

With the update done, both live and recorded TV now works

Solution:
Updated to OpenELEC 6.0.1, which also updated Kodi to 15.2. - http://openelec.tv/get-openelec
The Kodi updated failed - Fixed by dropping DB table - http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=233106
