There is still an open ticket for this, but it seems that the KODI Team does not take care of it (yet).

OK, I will have a look there.

I would love to see the DVBLogic team jumping into this topic with us at the KODI forum. It should also be in interest of DVBLogic, that their products are working fine within 3d-Party products. Furthermore I think, with the official dead of MCE, the usage and demand of KODI rises up.

DVBLink, satisfy your customers! We've paid! (until now, several times!) :-P

Since yesterday I am testing my new Digital Devices cards with DVBLink and I must say I like the functionality very much and I sure want to pay the TVSource component. It works fine in Kodi, but also I am experiences the problems described with the time shifting and it is very annoying, sure because the other things works smoothly and reliable. I am looking out to a solution to this defect.

I am using Kodi 15.1 on the latest version of DVBLink (installed yesterday 23 september 2015).

It would be nice when DVBLink collaborate with Kodi developers to a solution. If the DVBLogic Kodi PVR Addon must be bought to make it a quality and maintained product, I want to buy it (if reasonable priced).

Thank you.

I am such a user trying Kodi because of the phasing out of MCE! It would be smart if DVBLogic takes this opportunity.

I think your ticket is not clear at all (no offense :D) Should we try to open a new ticket? The problem you describe is very real: the way it worked in Media Center used to be perfect & smooth...
Should we wait for a more stable 16 release?
I've tried to use Kodi Dsplayer versions but no luck with dvblink's pvr addon so far :(

It is hard to address that kind of issue to the KODI Devs or to the DVBLogic Devs.
The problem is so easy to reproduce (at least for me) in Version 14.x, 15.x and also all 16 Betas I have tested so far. I dont think it's going to be solved in near future.
At this step, Timeshifting is nearly useless in KODI.

I think we have to be louder to get this fixed. :-(

ATM I'm thinking of switching the TV backend (maybe TVHeadend?)

I agree! I believe dvblogic must take ownership of this, and if needed, help the Kodi devs with code.

Or they need to build their own demuxer in the PVR plugin.

I read somewhere that time shift doesn't work great in Tvheadend either.

However the VDR plugin should have very well working time shift, they have demuxer.

@Oberon, will the Kodi fix "Timeshift #144" solve this issue? If yes, is any changes in the pvr plugin required as well?

If I understand correctly this fix is not for Jarvis, but for next kodi version.

OK, you are probably right. But will it make any difference for DVBLink and described issues with current versions?
