Recordings on Kodi 15.0 - Name/Tittle

Recordings on Kodi 15.0 - Name/Tittle

Postby MisterR » Mon May 25, 2015 10:08 am

I am using Kodi 15.0 with dvblink and it works very good.
But when I record for example "Tatort - Borowski und der brennende Mann" in the tvrecords of the dvblink-client I can see the correct title and subtitle.
At Kodi the file is only named "Tatort-xxxxxxx" but without any further information.
How can I change this ? At the dvbviewer for example I can predefine how the record file should look / be named.
Hope you understand what I mean and ´say tnx to any suggestion. Perhaps I have forgotten to do something in the right way.

I have just checked your scenario on PC with Kodi 15.0 and in my case i see the same name of recording as it in other clients ( for instance "Titans at the Table Cruising the High Seas" in web-client and in Kodi DVBLink PVR addon too)
Where is your Kodi running? And What EPG loader do you use?
NETGEAR RNDU2000; Synology DS112j, DS 212j, DS213+, DS 712+; Western Digital WD ex2; Asustor AS3, RPI2 ...
PCTV 460,461e,292e; TT 4400, 4650CI;DVBSKy S960; DD octopus net; Inverto sat2ip multibox; TBS DVB-C ...

Seems i am the only one with that problem.
Yesterday there was again TATORT and the recorded file is: Tatort-2015_20150525-47-10470000-1432577700.ts
But nothing more.
How can I define another 'recordname'.

Why would you need a recording file name to have a specific name/pattern?

For example:
The episode yesterday had the title/subtitle: Tatort - Roomservice
If I could say that the name should contain both it would be very helpfull for me afterwards to rocognize which episode I have recorded. Especially when i am not at home for a week or so I will not only see 'tatort' and nothing else.
I tried it with dvbviewer and it does show me the title/subtitle in the filename as I would like.
But I like dvblogic more :-)

Do you play back the file using the kodi plugin? as in TV->recordings? If you browse to the file via video-files for instance, you wont get any of the meta data that is recorded.
