Do you have by any chance AVG antivirus running? We have seen the comparable issue on the setups with AVG 2014 installed.

Okay, here it gets interesting (for me)

In my case it's by far not as bad as with Lamby7, but every now and then local host shuts me out as well.
(and gives me PlayReady message at that moment)
In those cases I just re-install DVBLink_server.msi without deleting anything before.
And things run fine again.

I recently found out this does NOT happen if I close WMC when I stop watching tv.
(just by clicking the x in the upper right corner).
I'm doing this for over a week now, no problems seen since.

And yes I am using AVG Free 2015.

It is a known issue with AVG (which is clearly their fault). So you might need to choose - either you use DVBLink or you use AVG.

Is AVG the only conflicting anti virus program?

That's the one that we know about.

I'm sorry to inform you that connecting to local host / config page (in my case) has nothing to do with AVG.
I uninstalled AVG and started using another anti virus program (Avira)
This did not improve the stability.

After a restart of the computer I still get the can not connect "to" message.
(my pc is in Dutch, so I don't know is the translation is 100% correct).
Double click on dvblink_server.msi resolves it.
But that can not be the way to go I think.

starting msi literally means restart of the DVBLink service.
We definitely know that DVBLink conflicts with AVG. But maybe in your case there are some additional nuances, which make DVBLink server hang.

Please check the event viewer logs on your computer.
And attach new zipped logs files.

Next few day's too busy.
But if you let me know what log you need and tell me how to create one, I'll do it later this week.

Thanks.

I uninstalled AVG completely.
After a PC reboot Localhost can still not be connected.

I would send you the logfile if I knew how to make one.
Can you please tell me where to find it, and what you need?

Thanks.

P.S.
I made a new account, old one ("new user") keeps on telling me I use the wrong password.
Even after PW reset.

Can you please tell me what you need from this logs-page?
I didn't work with it before, so I don't have a clue.

Thanks

If you have some free time, give me teamviewer access to your pc, and we'll look at your issue
