Recording shows that follow each other

Postby gsi095 » Thu Apr 03, 2014 11:11 pm

Hi,

I often set a season record for a program and a channel may broadcast 2 new episodes right after one another.

From my experience with TVHeadend on the Pi it would finish the first recording with an extra 15 minutes buffer at the end while also starting the next recording and not cutting either short.

On DVBLink, once the second recording on the same channel kicks in it cuts short the first even with 2 tuners.

Does anyone have a fix?

There is currently no fix, it is how DVBLInk operates. The behavior that you describe is planned for the upcoming version 5.

It was solved a long time ago. And is not reproducible in my system.
Just set two timers: one by one. Be sure that the start/end time is setted correctly and go to monitoring tab at the time of intersection. Do you see a second sink on the same TVSource?
