Place manuel XML-file for EPG

Postby lunapark » Mon Dec 14, 2015 8:36 pm

Hi

Under EPG sources I need to add an manuel XMLTV-file with EPG-info.

But when I enter settings under XMLTV it says by default that the location is:
/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/DVBLinkTVServer/share/xmltv

This name and path is nothing that I know of on my QNAP.
The real location of where I save the file is:
Public/DVBLink/xmltv/data.xml

But how do I point DVBLink in the right direction?

The default location on qnap is xmltv folder inside dvblink folder inside Public qnap share.

Hi there,

I'm having a similar issue with the EPG grabber.

Do i need to leave the default location as "/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/DVBLinkTVServer/share/xmltv" or change it to the public folder "/share/Public/DVBLink/xmltv"?

It seems that both locations point to the same data in PUTTY-SSH.

also my XMLTV file is named "xmltv.xml" should i re-name it to "data.xml"?

If the settings work correctly, should I see XMLTV appear in the available EPG sources straight away?

i dont see anything in the "available EPG sources" besides TVSource-1

does the XML folder have to be empty besides an xml file? In other words, if i have the mc2xml.exe file in the XML folder, is it going to cause an issue?
