DVBlink still work after 4.2 final?

Postby charettepa » Mon Oct 05, 2015 1:12 pm

I am on QNAP 4.2 RC2 with DVB 5.5
my system currently works
although since being on 4.2 I have had to stop the dvblogic service and start it again 2x as it becomes unaccessible

however I have gotten the notice in QNAP that says dvblink along with a handful of other apps will no longer be supported in 4.2
I find this a little alarming
I am on 4.2 rc2 and have not moved ahead to any other RC
I wonter if it means that as of the 4.2 final it will no longer work

Can DVBLogic please comment on this?

thanks for the reply oberon
however i think you misunderstood my comment and question
I already read that thread before posting

I AM on 4.2
I DO NOT have a problem
it IS working
my concern is the message that says it is not supported

should i be worried
or will you continue to support it

I do not see any issues in supporting your NAS model and your tuner configuration.
