Disable DLNA?

Postby Charles R » Fri Apr 03, 2015 4:24 am

I searched and didn't find an answer... is there an easy way to simply disable DLNA? I know it probably doesn't use much resources but I'd like to shut it down. SSH and vi is fine. :)

You can comment out next lines in dvblink_configuration.xml file:
Code: Select all
  <dlna_server>
      <guid>355e3ee1-10dd-404c-8873-8f09536161e3</guid>
      <product_id>5fec3297-a38f-11e3-a88c-005056c00008</product_id>
      <sink_control>dlna_server.dll</sink_control>
      <type>0</type>
  </dlna_server>

But it's not trivial question and not trivial method, so it on your own risk

I tried this however the file is overridden every time I reboot. Any other clues?

You need to stop server before changing the file.
