Recording naming sometimes wrong

Postby Hecktor » Tue Aug 15, 2017 7:49 pm

hi,
I changed the naming of the recordings to "Programm Name - Saison/Episode" as you can see in the screenshoots. But sometimes the recordings have the old standard naming. For exampe "Für immer Shrek_517-10200000-1502035800". How can this be? I am using two DVB-S Sticks. Maybe the first one names the recordings as it shoud be (Programm Name - Saison/Episode) and the secound one uses the old naming (Für immer Shrek_517-10200000-1502035800).

thank you, Jan

Make a repair of database (at the Recorder settings)
Also make a screenshort of full epg data for this recording (From the RecordedTV tab)
NETGEAR RNDU2000; Synology DS112j, DS 212j, DS213+, DS 712+; Western Digital WD ex2; Asustor AS3, RPI2 ...
PCTV 460,461e,292e; TT 4400, 4650CI;DVBSKy S960; DD octopus net; Inverto sat2ip multibox; TBS DVB-C ...

It has happened again. As I reported you in anouther Topic (viewtopic.php?f=69&t=32278) the secound tunes does not work at the moment. Therefore the PCTV stick is responsible for this two different types of namings. You can download the log file under https://gofile.me/3m0Pq/nrmD8aYSk.
This time the recordings are "Monsieur Claude und seine Töchter_553-10200000-1503252900" 20.08.207 22.20; Ender's Game_554-10190000-1503273600 21.08.2017 03.55.

Hi,

This time I deleted the DVBlink package from the server and installed the Version Synology offers in their package center (build 12901). Last time I always installed the newest build from your website. After installing I saw that the Recorder setting (Recording path, Start, Stop,...., and the Filename pattern) had still the user-defined settings. So this means not everything (for example the file naming) is reseted through a new installation.
Nevertheless I could not solve the problem.

I did not restore the Backup file because I think this is why the secound tuner didn't work. Now it is fine. So here is the new log File with the new settings, maybe you can find something https://gofile.me/3m0Pq/M1LrTNYgN

The reinstallation will not help in this case, i guess, as database consists recordings data and all schedules, and it is not touched during the reinstallation of the server.

Hi
I deleted the schedules und added the required ones again. Now it seems so as it happens more rarely like every seventh recording. But the Problem ist still there. Do you have another idea? Thank a lot :)

Jan

I Have conducted (for a 10 days) the scenario exact like yours, but in my case all is correct.

Hi,

First of all, thank you for your effort. I did not know that you were testing. In the past I created a ticket (#34453 by sending an email to support@dvblogic.freshdesk.com). I apologize for the trouble caused.

The last stand was that I renamed the dlrecorder.db to create a new one but it had no effect. The recordings were still named wrong. Than I tried to rename dlrecorder_settings.xml. But also no effect. Finally I deinstalled the dvblink package. Than I renamed the complete folder of DVBlink so that there would be no data that DVBlink could find after a new installation. Therefore I downloaded the newest version form your website. But the Problem is still there. I also created a new folder for the recordings so that there are no old files.
While testing I noticed that always the same film was named wrong. For example I started the recording of the series "Verdachtsfälle" after 1 minute I stopped it. Than I started it again. The result was "Verdachtsfälle_2-10300000-1506693600.ts" and "Verdachtsfälle_4-10300000-1506693600.ts". If I recorded another series it was ok like "The Big Bang Theory-S09E03.ts".
Maybe it is connected with the letters of the words or something else.

Dmytro Paliy told me that he would have a look on the log file during this week and that he has setted additional tests in your test lab.
Would it help if I give you access to the NAS?

Kind regards, Jan

Let's move this way:
- describe (maybe make a screenshort) what settings you do have for the Recorder
- then indicate channel and tv show name
- indicate your EPG data source
- then we will start our recs at the same time, and when the issue is played back at anyone we will compare log files...

PS.
I guess it would be better if you will give this info and continue all that tests at the support portal.
