I tried that. But when I copy a recorded file from my back-up location into /DVBLink/RecordedTV, it is not recognized by DVBLink.
Even clicking on Repair database does not help, the recording does not show up in DVBLink.

Or should I wait longer than 10 minutes?

In your settings, did you always use "Background check for deleted recordings" ?

I don't use that setting so when DVBLink can not find a recording, it remains in the database, in case something goes wrong with the settings in DVBLInk for the recording path.... just like the creators update of Win 10 did.....

Instead I just compare the old and new database, and merge the two with :

I may try to restore removed recording from the database. For that i need the original dlrecorder.db file

Also all recordings should located on the path they was originally recorded to.
NETGEAR RNDU2000; Synology DS112j, DS 212j, DS213+, DS 712+; Western Digital WD ex2; Asustor AS3, RPI2 ...
PCTV 460,461e,292e; TT 4400, 4650CI;DVBSKy S960; DD octopus net; Inverto sat2ip multibox; TBS DVB-C ...

No, no file attached. I try again, now as zip file.

I may restore only 8 recordings if they still located at:"/var/packages/DVBLinkServer/target/share/RecordedTV/"
Such as:
NOS Studio Sport Eredivisie-2235-20170505.ts"
NOS Studio Sport Eredivisie-1900-20170507.ts"
...
Van der Vorst ziet sterren-2130-20170517.ts"

Is it what you need?
NETGEAR RNDU2000; Synology DS112j, DS 212j, DS213+, DS 712+; Western Digital WD ex2; Asustor AS3, RPI2 ...
PCTV 460,461e,292e; TT 4400, 4650CI;DVBSKy S960; DD octopus net; Inverto sat2ip multibox; TBS DVB-C ...
