Hello,

today i installed DVBLink on my NAS1512+. I don´t can watch a stream. Often there comes the message "illegal parameter" in the browser windows. One time i can watch over vlc a channel, but never again.

I have attached the log files.

I just installed on a synology 1512+ and it seams to work. I cannot stream directly from web channels, but I don't Think this could be done on the other Synology box as well, as I remember this was only possible on a Windows system

There is an issue in the current version that you have to be reasonably quick opening downloaded m3u file - about 3-4 seconds. We are working on making it more usable.
Can you please try with other client to make sure that it works? Like xbmc for example?

Should be possible. This version uses native (not transcoded) stream on web interface. Also, you have to be reasonably quick with opening a live TV stream from browser ;) The best thing would be to associate mediaplayer or other player with m3u files. The timeout is about 3-4 seconds.
We will look into how to make it more usable.

I've istalled it on a 1812+ in combination with the Dreambox server and it installed ok and is running. However streaming over the web gives indeed the illegal parameter. Also could my HTPC not connect to the dvblink server on the NAS.

What do you mean exactly under giving illegal parameter?
Also which client are trying to use on HTPC?

DVBLink apps for iOS cannot stream video from the server running on a nas. That's why I asked to check with one of the "regular" client - like xbmc for example.

When I open de stream in a web browser the illegal parameter error shows. Also I could not open the m3u file in wmp which is saved. I don't see the dlna/server in WMP.

I installed the client from the link from this thread

Do I have to use the batch file to reinstall him instead of remove the old and install the current?

Yes. TV and Media Library tab -> button settings in the right top corner.
