Problems with Kodi 17.4 and PVR Addon

Postby Boogie2005 » Sun Sep 17, 2017 2:02 pm

I have the following problem:
3-4 days ago I could not see ARD HD. The attempt to playback caused the crash of Kodi. Yesterday I had the same problem with ZDF HD. No changes have been made to the system. At the same time it was possible to play the stations with DVBViewer.
What can be the cause of this? Where can I see this? Do you need the log files?

I use the Google translator because my english is not special. I hope my problem is understandable? :(

Today all channels are running again. I have not made any changes.

I have other problems with the Kodi PVR since 17.4

I use OSMC who have good support but are prone to say any problem is the thirdparty :-(

Nevertheless since the August OSMC update which included 17.4 the pvr does not load
previously it might hang on loading but I could get around this by clearing the guide data
Since 17.4 I simply get 'PVR cannot be loaded error 2000 and no getaround now works
the addon is version 3.4.5
I am not sure if it is the latest because the addon does not seem to support automatic updates

I have had to backgrade to the previous OSMC

my set up is
DVBlink back end latest server running on Win 7 8g ram

2x raspberry pi 2x OSMC Vero 4k

Anyone have the least idea what's going on ? as I say OSMC have washed their hands of it
