Should be no issue for pvr.dvblink. We do not use GetLiveStreamURL() at all.

With further changes in Kodi 18 PVR API the DVBLink Client now seems to be broken.

next API changes by ksooo, next issue with dvblink client....
With PVR API 5.5.0 ----> https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/12609 , dvblink client addon is no longer being started in kodi (09:48:56.370 T:140041659066112 ERROR: UpdateAddons - failed to create add-on DVBLink PVR Client, status = 5).

Aha, now I understand that in the latest 2 nightlies of 18, only 4 PVR addons were available in the installation file ......

So Kodi excluded all PVR addons in the install file, which aren't up to date

Yes, further adjustments need to be made for compatibility with API 5.5.0.

With all my respect, this is utter bullshit.
Transport stream starts wherever it starts - it is not a movie file, it is a live stream. And every video player/processor has to know how to recover and search for a first GOP.

Cause i havent the faintest idea about those things, i have to trust in the statements of you experts...
Maybe you could leave a statement in my trac ticket, so it would be assigned to the right place ?!
Otherwise i´ll keep going to try my luck....

PS:I have already pointed to the case, that DVBViever is also affected.
