DVBLink Kodi PVR addon is discussed here

current list of Kodi issues.

Why don't we get all the current Kodi issues together in one thread for @oberon and @the_man as they have been very quiet recently.
Current issues on Kodi 18 nightly and Kodi 17 on a Shield TV are;
- stutter when changing channels via guide, sometimes I have to close the channel then reselect it from the guide.
- Kodi sometimes hangs when a recording starts on another tuner (I'm running a quad dvbt).

What other issues do people currently have?
Intel i5 quad, GTX1060
1xTBS6205
DVBlink 6 on Win10 x64 with Nexus 5x/9/SPMC/Kodi clients
Dumped MCE for Nvidia Shield TV running SPMC v17 with dvblink plugin!
Dumped Sky TV for being a waste of money

PVR addon fails to load after resuming from standby. Tested on Windows 10 and Libreelec.

This thread is useless if nobody states their exact Kodi version/build number AND DVBLink PVR addon version number :!:

Nightlies of Kodi are compiled every night and can contain a higher build number of the DVBlink PVR addon, compared to the release version or even a nightly from a couple of days before....
DVBLink server 6.0.0 build14499, DVBLink TVSource 6.0.0 build14061, DVBLink for IPTV build 13107
Kodi 18.0-ALPHA1 Git:20180125-7379a75, Win10 Pro x64 1709 build16299.125

My issue is that there were a number of changes to both the Kodi backend and the dvblink plugin around PVR.
These changes are only in the nightlies and as far as I know, the fixes haven't been backported.
So my problem is that on the standard Kodi 17 we are missing various essential fixes to the PVR layer which forces people to use 18 nightlies.
As you know due to the rapid pace of the nightlies this introduces further issues.
Its the lack of a bug tracker/progress update/acknowledgement of issues/lack of statement of intent to address some of these long standing issues/lack of road map etc that generally adds to the frustration.
There was also a discussion about tv-mosaic being able to hook up to dvblink backend but that has gone quiet as well.
As far as I'm aware the changes to the Kodi dvblink plugin are https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.dvblink
There doesn't appear to be significant participation on the Kodi forums from dvblogic; http://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=236
If anyone has any good ideas on how to get momentum on current issues with Kodi/dvblink or has a viable alternative for Android TV, then I'm all ears.

Kodi 17.3 should have all of the fixes included.
Backporting of the fixes to earlier Kodi versions and builds is not planned.

Great to know. What about backporting to Kodi 16 specifically for spmc users? Also what about the Kodi 18 specific improvements to the pvr side that are outside of the plugin?
