IPTV Channels appear in channel list but not EPG

I have 2 IPTV channels setup within DVBLink. They appear in the channel list OK but do not appear in the EPG. Could this be because there is no guide data?

The two channels in question are a nursery camera feed and the Bloomberg IPTV news feed.

Anyone have any ideas why?

OK. I think it is because I need an XMLTV file, for the nursery cam feed anyway.

I have created one and it appears in DVBLink OK and I can map it to the Webcam feed. But my guide data is not showing. I basically want the guide data not to change ever.
My XMLTV file is as follows:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<!DOCTYPE tv SYSTEM "xmltv.dtd">

<tv>
<channel id="900">
<display-name>Nursery Cam</display-name>
</channel>
<programme start="20150607003000 -0600" stop="20160607003000" channel="900">
<title lang="en">Nursery Cam</title>
<desc lang="en">Live view of Jasper</desc>
</programme>
</tv>

What am I doing wrong?

DVBLink IPTV Source can't get any EPG data from stream. You need some of EPG loaders or XMLTV.xml file, like you have used.
The EPG does not appear immediately after mapping, dvblink needs some time to update all EPG data ( generally it takes 15-20 minutes )
And to be honest, i don't think that the EPG data length of one year will work. But anyway, Why you need EPG data for that cam channel??

Still nothing coming through, I think there must be something slightly wrong with my XMLTV file....

Try this code:

Code: Select all
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<!DOCTYPE tv SYSTEM "xmltv.dtd">

<tv>
<channel id="900">
<display-name>Nursery Cam</display-name>
</channel>
<programme start="20150806003000 -0600" stop="20160830003000" channel="900">
<title lang="en">Nursery Cam</title>
<desc lang="en">Live view of Jasper</desc>
</programme>
</tv>

Replace your file by this one.

I use Diguiguide for Freeview channels and this XMLTV file for the webcam feed.

That file will be worked to 30.8.15, then just change date.

I'm not familar with digiguide but for Bloomberg iptv, have you tried finding Bloomberg channel in digiguide and using that for the EPG source just as you did for your non-iptv channels?

I haven't, but there's no reason it wouldn't work.
