Boxee/Kodi PVR - 32bit Linux: i686

Hi,

I have just managed to get an old Boxee Box running Kodi 14.1 - all is running smoothly but I'm having trouble with the DVBlink Client.

Does anyone have or know where I can get a DVB Link Client (preferably version: 1.9.13.1) that will work on 32bit Linux i686? I have tried all the linux ones fron the DVBlogic download page - they install but when you attempt to run I get an error saying that some DLL's are missing.

Please help!

Thanks Oberon- that was my first guess as well. The plugin installs OK and can be configured but with you activate Live TV I get:

"Addon Could Not Be Loaded!
An unknown error has occured
Check the log files

Can't load Dll"

I am trying to track down the log files for you to see but my guess is that this version of the plugin is for Linux i486 not i686. Would that make a difference?

OK found the issue in case anyone comes across this ..

Because Kodi is installed in the /tmp/ directory, you can't execute anything. Seems to be a security restriction in Linux. What the plugin is trying to do (as i understand it) is launch python code into shared memory space, which due to this restriction, it's not allowed to do.

Only option - re-install Kodi into another directory outside of /tmp/
