Kodi 14.2 missing EPG data on many chanels

Postby hjzwiers » Wed Jul 08, 2015 10:58 pm

Set up kodi 14.2 with downloaded dvblink pvr version 1.9.13.1 on a client PC

Streaming is fine, all channels show up, but from the 90 channels I only get EPG data from 9 channels :( . These 9 channel EPG data is all correct and functions fine.

Real puzzle. I reinstalled the dvblink client and Kodi, same result. Any clue anyone?

Are these EPG data displayed in dvblink web client? If yes, it can be Kodi issue, just try to reset all PVR database:
XBMC Settings -> Live TV -> Reset PVR database
also there should be reset option for EPG database.

I reset the PVR as suggested, the same 9 EPG channels came back after enabling the PVR again.

I started MCE on the same client, all the EPG information is correct in windows media center, so it must be a Kodi problem, or DVBlink PVR add on issue. Only how to solve this?

Just to be sure that dvblink server works correctly, set log level to info, restart dvblink server and wait up to 20 minutes, then attach zipped log file here.

Attached the log file, hope it helps (of course this is the log on the backend side, I have Kodi running on the client side)

I will try to run Kodi on the server to see if there is the same issue

I installed Kodi on the server PC and I get the same 9 EPG files.

First of all you've forgot to set log level to info.

And as i've seen from your log file, you are using old version of dvblink server ( i strongly recommend you do update of server and all installed packages )
Also describe in more details your installation: where is dvblink server running ( version/build )? What tuner do you use ...

I got it to work by changing the EPG source to the tuners and not MCE-EPG
