Yes! It's absolutely true! Tested it with nightly Kodi and PVR 1.9.11 on Mac OS X

You can download a nightly build with the actual pvr addon: http://kodi.tv/download/ look at the development builds :D

Hi,I started seeing this issue recently (I was running Kodi 16 nightly, kodi 17 nightly) and now more recently SPMC (on an Nvidia shield TV).
Kodi crashes when timeshifting is enabled and navigating through the channel list via channel up/down. The problem seems to occur more often on switches between HD channels and non HD channels.

Was the root cause ever properly identified? - I have disabled time shifting until the issue can be fully resolved.

Dumped MCE for Nvidia Shield TV running SPMC v17 with dvblink plugin!
Dumped Sky TV for being a waste of money

At this stage I want to stick with v5.5. Can this fix be pushed to 5.5? Thanks.
Incidentally my server is Windows 10, does the fix apply to that?

I do not think that this fix applies to your situation.
It fixes the dvblink server crash, not the Kodi crash.

Thanks, are you guys able to reproduce this? I'm able to reproduce this every time the switch between HD and non HD Chanel occurs. I wasn't aware of it until quite recently so perhaps a regression bug has crept in.
