Freeze, when selecting sources

Postby Justin » Sat Jul 13, 2013 6:07 pm

Dear sir or madam,

Unfortunately I have not been able to solve an issue I am encountering.
By following the installation instructions I have installed the drivers of the two USB Hauppauge TV tuners (930h 660xxx & 900h) followed by DVBLink Server, DVBLink Analog TV & DVBLink Connect! server.

So after installation I am going to the configuration website.
According to the manuals I should go to the tab "sources" to configure the actual sources and signal.
Unfortunately, the web-application tells me to 'pleas wait...' and nothing happens. I've waited once for 15 minutes and another time for more then an hour.

I have tried to solve the issue by doing a re-installation of the drivers and DVBLink and I have read many posts on the forum. To my regret I still have not been able to solve it.

Attached are the logfiles.
Specifications:
-OS: WHS 2011
-TUners: Hauppauge 930h & Hauppauge 900h
-DVBLink products: DVBLink Server, Connect! & Analog TV
-activation: trial
-version: 4.6.0

I am getting the same issue after upgrading to 4.6

The source page keeps loading, time-out and then non of the pages are available.

I try and restart the dvb service and that gets stuck on stopping. I have to restart the server to be able to go to the config page again.

Log files are attached.

Two possibilities:
- browser refresh (Ctrl-F5)
- renaming sat2ip.dev file in dvblink\templates\sources\tvsource\devices

I have done both.

Once I go to the source page and it times out, i can't go to any other conf page. if I refresh the same thing happens. The only way to bring the webpage back up is the restart. If i restart the service it gets stuck in a "stopping" state.

I have also renamed/deleted the sat2ip.dev files.

Any other suggestions? the system was working well before upgrading to 4.6

Please set log level to info, reproduce the issue and attach new zipped log file here.

After installing the latest updates and renaming the sat2ip.dev files, I was able to get to the sources page once, select the tuner and name the source. It then froze while saying Please wait....

After that I was unable to access any part of the config page and couldn't restart the dvblink server service. I had to restart the server. I have attached the log files.

You have somewhere on the network a DVBLink Network Client of previous version (4.5.1 or older). Upgrade it to the latest version and it should start working.

I had much the same problem, removing the Sat2IP template has dramatically improved the stability of the system.

I still get the odd freeze and the service won't restart, even with no client elsewhere on the network. Everything is up-to-date as far as I'm aware.

Are you sure that you are in the correct forum section? I do not see any analog tuners in your config?..

Hi,

Have exactly the same problem - installed latest version of 4.6.0.

OS: Windows 2012 R2 Essentials

Source page will not load.
Can't stop/restart service. Have to reboot server

For the last couple of nights have been reading a lot of advice her. Tried:
- Rename/delete sat2ip.dev
- Change permissions to everybody on dvblogic program folder + subfolders etc
- Disabled UAC
- Installed .NEt 3.5
- Set all exe-files in dvblogic to be run at administrator level
- Set compliance to Windows 7

Manged to install one source.
It's working - but I have a some more to go.

Please advice

/Peter

a) Create a new topic in the correct section of the forums (are you using analog tuners?)
b) Set log level to info, reproduce the issue and attach log files
