Unfortunately it is not clear at the moment why it does not work. I am afraid we cannot help you here any further, because we do not have this card for testing.

Maybe, but it will take some time and we are currently 100% busy with other tasks. The best option we can provide you with on the short term is a refund.

The problem is that i don't have an alternative for dvblink. I want my own tv server to stream to my windows phone and surface tablet. Do you have some kind of alternative software that would do this?

I am new to this software so I wasn't sure if it was me, the software or the tuner but I am also experiencing exactly the same problem. I recently bought a new Hauppauge HVR-1900, so what information do you require to assist with the resolution of this issue???
Server:Shuttle SN95, AMD +4200 x2 cpu, WHS v1, 1 x Nova T500,2 x Nova T stick(DVB-T) & 1 HVR-1900(Hybrid).
DVBLink TVSource 4.5.2, Analogue & EPG Loader Digiguide.
Clients:ION330 W7 MCE, Intel Q9400 W7 MCE, Acer Aspire W7MCE, Raspberry Pi Raspmc.

Reposting this same message from a different thread with the same title...

I am using Avermedia M780 dual tuner cards...one ATSC, one NTSC with separate RF ports. The DVBLink Digital TV plugin works just fine. The AnalogTV plug detects the tuners and recognizes them but when I try to set them up and perform a scan on the NTSC analog cable signal I get the same message as the original post. This is using the latest version of all software, 4.6.0 Server and 4.6.0 AnalogTV. I would like to officially know whether AnalogTV is still functional inside of the DVBLink Server/Client environment? I am in trial mode and trying to make a decision on purchase. For now it looks like I will only be able to purchase and use the Digital TV/ATSC software. Can you confirm whether the software works with Avermedia M780 analog? If not, how does it properly recognize the tuners and also works fine with the digital tuners on the same card?

Any ideas on this issue? Does the log file tell the story on why it doesn't work? DVBLink does recognize the type tuners that are installed. The Avermedia M780 has one ATSC/clearQAM tuner and one NTSC analog tuner onboard. DVBLink does use the ATSC tuners to serve out over the air TV but it can't scan/recognize the NTSC signal for analog US cable TV. It only sends back the same message listed in the thread subject line. Please let me know if there is some other setting that needs to be accomplished to get this working.

Aha, it's getting more clear now, because the log messages are very unusual. I believe this tuner cannot be used at the same time to serve NTSC and ATSC - and this is what you are trying to do. You need two different tuners to be able to do that.
