I can see you've put a lot of effort into making this plugin ( judging solely from screenshots on your site ) but to be honest, Outlook is last place I want to have anything to do with TV.
That's just my personal preference though.

Sure, I agree Outlook has very little to do with watching TV, the main reason why we use Outlook is calendering.

MS Outlook has many flaws, but they have one of the most powerfull calendering. So the main purpose is managing EPG and recordings in a multi channel/time Views, instead of using phones, web app etc...

Hai,

I updated DVBLink to latest build 8340 and getting invalid XML error on get_object call (container_type 4 is not a valid value). Was checking your API but there is no value 4 defined for contanier type.

Thanks,

Radek

This is brilliant- I never would have expected this was possible. Especially the dual monitor setup. Scheduling recordings in MC is painful, the worst is prioritizing them. The option to use a mouse instead of the remote and hundreds of button presses. Is there any video available on how the recording list and priorities are handled?

There is config demo video: http://www.geniusconnect.com/articles/Products/2/19/
And Dual Montior demo: http://youtu.be/vl2X7ZuvBww

We have no demo for recording list since it is a normal Outlook Calendar handling, you can create a custom View on Outlook (View->Change View->Manage Views->"New..." button) and set filter on column Categories.

Hello,

I've a small problem:
I installed it BUT I can't see the toolbar.
I can't found it under Outlook Menu Tools->Other->Advanced Options->COM Add-Ins...->

My System is a Win7 64bit and Outlook 2003.

What can I do?

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work for me, at least with DVBLink v5.0.0. As soon as I click on a program in the calendar, I get stuck into an infinite "Can't open" message popup mess, only solution is to kill Outlook.
