Every time I start xbmc the subs are back, anyway to save the setting so I don't need to turn them off each time?
HTPC: AMD 3780k APU (3Ghz Quad+AMD 6570), 8GB Crucial Balastix RAM, Black Gold BGT3600 + BGT3620 Tuner cards (DVB-T2 x 4 + DVB-S2 x 2), 2TB Seagate 5900rpm drive, Sandisk readycache 32gb SSD, Antec Micro Fusion Case.

I have to do some research before I can promise anything... :)
If I recall there is a setting when using the internal player.
The DvbLink add-on uses the internal player for playing back the stream, this so that streaming can be terminated when stopping playback.
Let me get back to you.

Update:
There is a setting for this on the XBMC player.
What I could do (in the next version) is to add a setting for the DvbLink add-on which will disable/enable subtitles.

Hey DSD

Is there a possibility to sort the channels by number and not by name?!
Also is it possible, to implement channel logos as cover art?!

The channel number is not shown today in the list, perhaps there should be an option of showing the channel number before the channel name.
E.g. "10 - BBC HD". And also an option of sorting the channel list. I will try and look into this, but I cannot promise anything.

Regarding channel logos. I've been thinking of adding this feature but I'm not sure where the logos should be shown.
And also how should the correct logo be mapped to the correct channel?
I think that in any case the user need to do some extra work in order for channel logos to work properly.
There could be a subfolder in the add-on folder that contains the logos and the channel name have to match the logo name letter for letter.

Any chance this could run on Raspbmc (http://www.raspbmc.com) on Raspberry Pi?

It does not work on the RPi due to the lack of an MPEG2 decoder.

Does the Raspberry Pi support AAC and MPEG-4?
The DVBLink Connect Server support transcoding for Android devices using MPEG-4 and AAC audio.
I will try and have a look at it, but as usual I'm not promising anything just yet.

I have some good news.
I've been able to get the XBMC add-on to use transcoding.
So far I've been able to transcode to a RTSP stream using MPEG-4 (it's shown in the info screen in XBMC as H264) and AAC audio.

Below is a screenshot of the transcoding in full effect.

It's still a lot of work to be done but at least now we know it's possible. :)
Next step would be to add settings for transcoding so that you can change height, width and bitrate and also switch between RTSP and raw_http (which is the raw transport stream).
When watching TV in the same network I would prefer raw_http if possible and use transcoding when outside the network. But in the case of Raspberry Pi it would make sense to use
transcoding even in the same network (this due to hardware restrictions).

Thanks, I'm letting the DVBLink Connect Server do all the hardwork (transcoding). :)
