EPG Loader deletes scheduled recordings

Postby ksjohansen » Sun Jan 06, 2013 12:53 am

Hi

I've experienced it a few times now - after updating, my scheduled recordings disappear. I am certain the loader software is doing it, because I've been working with a different loader for years without this problem.

Do all scheduled recordings disappear or only some of them? Are those disappeared recordings still listed under TV Records tab -> Schedules?

It does not seem to happen to the serial recordings - but it happens consistently to individual recordings done in the programme overview menu in MCE. I will observe it and get back with more details.

I am in agreement here. I have observed the same behaviour. Serial scheduled recordings are kept, individual ones are lost.
It happens at least a couple of times every week.

This can happen if program start time changes. DVBLink uses start time as program id (there is nothing better currently using timefor.tv data) and if start time changes, the recording would be gone.

Oberon, I tend to disagree with that obervation. It hardly likely that ALL individual scheduled recordings change start time at the same time.
When this issue occurs, all individual recordings are lost (not just one, but all).

I just said that it is one of the possibilities.
Do deleted recordings still show under Schedules on TV Records tab?

Hello
I've also had the experience at the one times recordings disappear and not being recordet, I have in a distinguished presence to the coherence of the epg data missing in WMC and the footage disappears, I've tried it with a recording I had set for tomorrow night at channel 4 pm. 08:00 I had programmed the last weekend, and here mid-week it was gone, while all series recordings are still there. and mid-week, there was no data at all in WMC, depressed so the sync channel, and few minutes later, all data there, and I had to program the recording again

Open a new topic and describe your issue in details. Also include zipped log files.
