I'm also thinks about buying the VU+ Solo, therefore I would like it when someone will help us out and tell us his or her experience with this piece of equipment!

@Joshy123 In your signature you're writing you are the owner of a DVBSKy S960CI and a Synology DS415+.
That's why I'm curious what this combination misses in daily use and what is it why you would like to buy a Vu+ Solo?

In my case I do have a full-size server which I'm planning to dismantle and do want to replace the server with a much smaller and energy efficient NAS with a separate or USB tuner (i.a S960CI/TBS960CI)
Or I will buy a Sat Receiver with network distribution possibilities (Vu+ Solo), which I think is more stable.

I'm using Kodi 16.1 as the front-end in three rooms and almost never "we" do watch more then one channel at the same time, so S960CI/TBS960CI could be enough, but they are no longer officially supported using DVBLogic software.
If it ain't Dutch it ain't that much.

having trouble with encrypted channels so i figure a full STB system should run the stream and decrypt it then it would then pass it unencrypted to dvblogic, the sky S960 works fine unencrypted channels

I have a Solo2 with subscription card and OpenPLi 4.0 and that works perfect with DVBlink and WMC.
