Another try. The patch installation is the same as for the previous.

The first attempt crashed dvblink_server after a 3rd tuner was set to record so I have attached the log for that, I have restarted the service & this time everything started recording (and still is) only 5 minutes so far but that is a record for me... I am going out now and have set some more test recordings for whilst I am out so I will report back later

Cheers

Hi Oberon,

Just an update for you... I have now recorded 16 recordings, some simultaneously & some separate with no issues... I think you have cracked it! :-D Can you please let me know what the problem was?

Many Thanks

Good to hear that we are making progress. The issue is related to setting connect/read/write timeouts in wininet.
Can you please check this attached new patch as well? It has some fine tuned code for timeouts and I wonder if it works as well.
Thanks.

Super. Please use the patch for the time being. We will integrate the code into the next product build.

Hi Oberon,

I guess the patch does only work for epg loader for digiguide, wright?

As I wrote before, I am using epg loader for TimeFor.tv and the dreambox ans have the same problems.
Will Theres be a patch or update fort this combination?
I really hope so. This will spare some discussions at home, why the Programm is again not recorded :D

Thanks
Paul

You can copy only the dreambox files - it should be enough to fix the issue I hope.

Hi Oberon,

just a short feedback: it seems that it all works perfectly now (after replacing the dreambox files). I made about 12 Records on my Win7 PC and also tried the Win 8.1 PC. No week signal errors at all!

Thanks for Your superb support!
