EPG Data from UPC sometimes only 24h

Hi,

I use TVButler on a Synology DS916+. On most of the channels, the EPG data is very short (about 24h). I believe this has to do with the "rumours on internet" that UPC in Switzerland sends only 24h of EPG data on the transponders of the channels but sends 7 days of EPG data on their own Info Channel.

Now when I delete the TVButler configuration and do a network scan then first I get the complete EPG data for 7 days and for all channels. But the after some time (say over night) the EPG data disappears for most channels (No program information available in the TV guide after 24h). I tried to assign EPG ID and EPG Name manually in the Channels / EPG sources tab but with no success. There are about 20 EPG sources for each channel to choose from and I did not figure out which one would work.

What puzzles me most: why do I first have complete EPG data and then it disappears? What can I make to prevent it from disappearing?

Just checked back an right now I have EPG data for all channels for the whole next week. Is it possible this has to do with "Live EPG updates"?

Just try to disable the "Live EPG updates" and work like that for a few days. The DVBLink TVSource make an update of the EPG data every 12 hours.

Thanks, I did that. Strange enough, now I have the updates enabled back on and still get full 7 days EPG. In case it stops working I will test the live EPG updates again.
