It's delayed a bit, indeed.

thanks @Oberon, does this mean you are still working towards the goal of having tv-mosaic being able to connect to a dvblink backend?
Are we talking weeks or months or unknown at this stage?

@Oberon any movement or update on this? Appreciate all the effort but would definitely be up for switching to the newer slicker interface.

I can only assume @oberon and @the_man have abandoned supporting the products any more. We should not have to plead and beg for information.
I'm just interested in a statement of intent (and itmescales) to;
a) fix the issues around Kodi

b) fix the issues with the dvblink theater client and modernise the look and feel of it to look like a proper Android TV app.
or
c) Allow tv mosaic to hook into dvblink backend and make sure full functionality of livetv in Kodi is available.

I'm on the fence right now and may consider switching to a pair of HD home runs to get quad dvbt tuners.

It's definitely not abandoned. But it also does not progress as fast as we want it to be because of a number of objective and subjective reasons.

Full backport of TVMosaic to dvblink is still on our todo list. And all critical Kodi addon issues were closed with 17.3 release.

Thanks @Oberon, good to know things are happening behind the scenes (albeit slowly).

The critical outstanding issue for me with Kodi is around FPS detection - I'm more than happy to post video clips of the problem and any logs etc;

@Oberon thanks for doing this, looks good from the pics. Sadly I don't have access to AFTV at the moment to test the apk out, but can you let me know if transcoding is supported in the new app, and do you have any plans to support channel logo's from the server?
Thanks again
