Can only play 1 IPTV stream. Do I need a something else?

Postby ego1138 » Wed Dec 27, 2017 3:56 pm

So I recently bought an IPTV stream with M3U file. Works great and am able to stream it throughout the house.
The problem I'm having is if TV1 is watching a show via IPTV, and then TV2 goes to watch something, (same channel or different channel, it doesn't matter), TV1's stream locks up and kicks them out. TV2 stays working just fine . . . until any other TV goes to watch TV, and then it will kick out TV2, etc.

So my quesiton is . . . is there another license or product I need from DVBLink to allow for the simultaneous viewing on multiple devices?

Your IPTV provider is controlling the number of simultaneous streams, that your IPTV subscription allows.
If your IPTV subscription only allows one active connection, the first stream is always kicked out, when the second starts...

If you subscribed for two active connections, the above doesn't happen.
DVBLink server 6.0.0 build14499, DVBLink TVSource 6.0.0 build14061, DVBLink for IPTV build 13107
Kodi 18.0-ALPHA1 Git:20180125-7379a75, Win10 Pro x64 1709 build16299.125

Okay, thanks. I just wanted to figure out whether it was a limitation of the server, or the stream.

Appreciate the help! :)
