Queries regarding DVBLink for IPTV

Postby billybob69 » Sat Jul 11, 2015 10:26 pm

Hi,

I've downloaded the trial version of the IPTV, but have some queries regarding it -

Is there the possibility of using a local m3u list? I can see the possibility of using a playlist from a website but not a playlist that is stored on my 'c' drive.

Are the pre-stored local playlists geo-blocked? I've tried to open some of the channels from the US playlist, but none seem to play (I'm currently UK based). I've both the settings on the Network adapter selection but with no luck.

Thanks in advance for any replies,

Yes you can use your own local playlist. Just save the *.m3u file by path ..\DVBLogic\DVBLink\share\playlists
Then you can choose it in IPTV Source configuration screen.
If your Internet provider offers IPTV, you can use it with dvblink server.
NETGEAR RNDU2000; Synology DS112j, DS 212j, DS213+, DS 712+; Western Digital WD ex2; Asustor AS3, RPI2 ...
PCTV 460,461e,292e; TT 4400, 4650CI;DVBSKy S960; DD octopus net; Inverto sat2ip multibox; TBS DVB-C ...

So I am right in thinking that in order to gain the channels that are preset in DVBLink for IPTV that you need to have a subscription to the appropriate IPTV provider (such as Glashart)?

Thanks,
