Can you play any of those URLs in VLC?

It works in VLC when I feed those sites into RMTPdump first. Wouldn't it be possible to include this tool into an existing DVBLink setup?

Sounds too complicated to me, but we will have a look.

I have the same issue with some other web pages like balkaniyum.tv for example. It would be great if dvblink iptv module would be able to support rtmp streams. Or at least to support non transport streams over http for example.

There is also a modified version of rtmpdump that works directly with VLC:

It's actually quite easy. You can use the open source command line tool rtmpdump to pipe a regular rtmp video (like all the flash video streams used by the major tv channels) into almost every media player like VLC.

For example, the following code opens up the CNN live stream in vlc:

Code: Select all
rtmpdump -v -r "rtmp://cp44679.live.edgefcs.net/live/cnnlive_1_low@49688" | vlc -

So basically all you would need is a field in the DVBlink for IPTV setup section where users can put in the rtmp url and have rmtpdump feed the live stream back to you.

EDIT: There's a nice video tutorial on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PuUnQCS7DQ
