0KB Recordings

Postby Carnage » Sat Nov 30, 2013 9:22 pm

Hi Community,

i’ve the following issue:

Recordings on the harddisk are stored as 0 KB files.

I’m using the following setup:

DVBLink-Server 4.6.0 Build 9301
DVBLink for IPTV 4.6.0 Build 8916
DVBLink EGG Loader 4.6.0 Build 9301

I use a GSS Box as SAT>IP Device.
I can open the streams on the server with VLC-Player. Works fine.
Also the channel list looks good.

If I start the recording I can see that a file in the recording directory is created. Filesize is 0 KB. Nothing more happens.

I’ve attached my logfiles.

Thanks for the help.

Can you view the channels in VLC from the DVBLink TV and Media Library page? I see in the log that it is not only recordings, but also normal viewing via DVBLInk is not possible sometimes.
What can be happening is that other SAT>IP clients (like client for iOS or Android) can be collecting EPG in the background and prevent DVBLink from opening streams?.. Can you verify this in the web page of the GSS box?
Also I would recommend using DVBLink TVSource instead of DVBLink for IPTV to connect to SAT>IP box. It will provide also EPG parsing (which DVBLink for IPTV does not).

Hi,

changing the source to TV-Source did the trick.
I thought this component is for physical Cards only and not for ip TV.

Now everyting works as expected.

Thanks.
