iOS EPG : Available channels are shown and not only selected

Postby Skandy » Thu Dec 08, 2011 2:53 pm

Hi,

I selected some channels from my IPTV provider m3u in the DVBLink Configuration > Channel selection and synchronized channels using Windows Media Center :

Media Center's EPG and iOS' EPG are both displaying all channels available and not only selected one.

Thanks for help.
*DVBLink for IPTV 4.5 and TVSource 4.5 on Windows Home Server v1
*Connect! Server 4.5 on WHS v1
*Network Client 4.5 on Windows 7 Media Center set as Default Recorder (Switched to XBMC on ATV2)
*iOS Clients on iPhone 4S, 3GS, iPad 2, Apple TV 2

This is because dvblink for iptv has an automatic mapping feature, which automatically adds all channels from m3u file to the selected ones.
If you do not like it, you can
- stop dvblink server windows service
- open dvblink_configuration.xml
- find your iptv source under sources
- remove line with <channel_sync_type> tag
- save file
- start service
- select/remove the channels that you want to

Hi,

OK I did what you told me but the configuration is randomly lost..

* I created 4 IPTV sources as my IPTV provider allows me to have 4 parallel streams (one for each client tuner).
* I stopped DVBLink server service, deleted line with <channel_sync_type> tag from the 4 tuners' configuration and restarted service.
* After more than an hour selecting channels from the 471 in the remote m3u of my provider (Did it on the first source and used Smart Channel Mapper for the 3 other sources) and merging by name, i synchronized my selected channels using Media Center plugin.
* This morning, I woke up and all selected channels were gone.. Both in server and client configurations...

Too much for my time selecting channels..

Any clue please?
