TBS 6290 SE / DVB-T and DVBLink

Postby Slangaren » Mon Nov 20, 2017 9:08 pm

HI,

I had a DVB Sky TV card (DVB-T2) + a CI+ CAM installed on my latest version of DVBLink Server with TVSource (also latest).
The server I have is running W8 64-bit. Encrypted channels did work with my DVB Sky.
I live in Sweden..
I had problems with my DVB Sky haning often needing to reboot every day, so I bought a TBS 6290 SE (double tuner) DVB-T2..

I understand thet the TBS card doesn't support CI+, so I bought a standard CA Module instead.

I did get the TBS working with encrypted channels (also T2) in their TV SW (DVB Dream).
I also understand that TBS is supported by DVBLink.

The problem is that on my DVBLink Server, only FTA channels are working but not encrypted channels.
I have contacted TBS and they asked me to update with the latest version of the "TbsCIapi.dll " file from the DVB Dream install (i remember the file was from 2017 something, and the files in the DVBLInk Server SW was from 2016.

But still no luck with encrypted channels.
TBS suggested me to contact you, first to ask in the lates TbsCIapi.dll is supported, and if so, if you have other ideas why FTA channels are working but NOT encrypted (when the encrypted are working on DVB Dream on the same 6290 SE card).

Many thanks

/Jonas

I have the first version of 6290 but exactly the same problem.
Seems like I have to give up the dvblink if no solution is found soon.
