Entitlements ended today the plugin did not update my card either and my Live TV has stopped working again. Definitely an issue especially when my other half is at home and doesn't know how to fix this. Looks like I'm going back to ACAMD unless you have specify something in the config file to auto update?

Can anyone tell me what does this option do for the readers config?

audisabled = 0

To me it sounds like auto update?

Seems to me, that EMM transfers to the server are blocked in your overall config, if your card doesn't update its entitlements.

To make it easy for you, just use the same line of your cardclient.conf from Acamd and use it in your DVBJCAM.readers file, if your card did update with Acamd. That's all...

Koen Zomers wrote:Works here. As it wasn't completely clear how to set it up, my steps to help others in the same exercise:

1. Download version 0.0.0.8 from here: https://www.sat4all.com/forums/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=224200
2. Extract the RAR archive using a tool like 7zip: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html to a temporary location
3. Open dvbjam.readers which is among the extracted files from the previous step in notepad
4. Add one of the following sections to the file with your own variables. The first sample is for a CCcam source, the second for a newcamd source (i.e. NewCS). You can add multiple of these sections if you have multiple sources. Note that some card clients only allow 1 connection per username. So if you have multiple tuners, ensure to give each tuner a different dvbjam.readers file with each a different username inside.

Code: Select all
[reader]
label      = cccam
protocol   = cccam
device     = 192.168.1.2, 12345
user       = username
password   = password
audisabled = 0
//chid       = 0604:-270E,-270F,-01F4
blockemm-g = 1
enable     = 1

[reader]
label      = newcs
protocol   = newcamd
key        = yourkeyasconfiguredinnewcs
device     = 192.168.1.3, 12345
user       = username
password   = password
//caid       = 0606
//chid       = 0604:-270E,-270F,-01F4
blockemm-g = 1
audisabled = 1
enable     = 1

4. Stop the dvblink_server Windows Service using i.e. PowerShell: Stop-Service -Name dvblink_server
5. Copy these four files: DVBJCAM.conf, DVBJCAM.dll, DVBJCAM.readers, ReadMe.txt to C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\share\mirror\sources\TVSource-1\plugins. Create the subfolder plugins manually if it doesn't exist yet. Do this for all your tuners listed in C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\share\mirror\sources.
6. Remove any existing plugins you may have been using before (i.e. Acamd) from C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\plugins. Do the same for all other tuners you may have under C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources.
7. Start the dvblink_server Windows Service using i.e. PowerShell: Start-Service -Name dvblink_server

You should see at the CCCam or NewsCS server connections being made for each tuner now. If you don't or it doesn't work yet, do the following to enable logging:

1. Create a folder Temp on your C drive of the DVBLogic server
2. Open dvbjam.conf located in each of the C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\share\mirror\sources\TVSource-1\plugins folders of each tuner and replace the text with the below text. Ensure to have each tuner create its own file, i.e. logfile = c:\Temp\tuner1.txt, logfile = c:\Temp\tuner2.txt, etc.

Code: Select all
//Remark, remove // to activate line, 0 = off, 1 = on
console = off
log = on
logfile = c:\Temp\tuner1.txt
displaypmt = off
displaycat = off
softcsa = off

3. Restart the dvblink_server Windows Service using i.e. PowerShell: Restart-Service -Name dvblink_server
4. Check if C:\Temp contains the log files for your tuners. Examine their contents in Notepad to see what's going on. On startup of DVBLink it should already show that it's making a connection to your CCcam\NewCs sources. When you tune to a channel, it should give extensive information on where it tries to get a decryption key from and if that was successful.
5. Don't forget to disable logging again once you're done as these log files will get incredibly large. You can switch it off by editing dvbham.conf again in notepad and changing the line log = on to become log = off. Save it, restart the dvblink_server Windows service using i.e. PowerShell: Restart-Service -Name dvblink_server and the logging should no longer happen.

Apologies for quoting the entire post. I'm trying to get this to work on a Ubuntu 17 server and I have followed the instructions above but it doesn't look like the plugin is even loaded, much less contacting my oscam server. Then it occurred to me that the only thing included in the zip file is a .dll file. Is this whole thing Windows only?/

Another group of developers was working on the implementation of mdjapi for DVBLink. I have seen the pre-built binaries on a filedrop site at the following link (I do not know how long they will stay there):

are you referring to that link? It's dead. Is there an alternative? Anyone willing to post the linux binary?
