The zip archive in the first post of this topic contains binaries for all platforms (so for linux, dll for windows).
Version 0.0.0.5 is the latest available for download from here.
We plan to port 0.0.0.8 and build it as well, but it should not make much difference as changes between 0.0.0.5 and 0.0.0.8 are small.

Now that is clear :). Does anybody have success story with Intel based synology? I tried newcamd protocol also, connected but got strange error. I will try to reproduce it.
Anyway, if anyone has success with Synology, DVBlink, DVBJAPI plugin and OSCAM i would be happy to read both success and tips :).

On DVBlink server i noticed error: unknown error in py part
2017-Sep-04 17:55:13:

Ok! Strangest thing. My DVBlink server had 2 locked channels for testing, none of them worked. I scanned more locked channel, tried on which i hadn't tried before, wham, it worked :)!

So one success story here :).

Thanks Oberon,

Now I have an issue with this:

copy dvbjcam plugin (either dll or so file, depending on platform) and readers file to <dvblink share directory>/mirror/sources/<your tvsource source>/plugins

There is no 'plugins' folder under mirror/sources/<your tvsource source>/

Any idea? Or do I copy the files to C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\<your tvsource source>\plugins folder?

I'm a real noob when it comes to these config files.

I'm currently using a Dreambox 500S as my card server and the acamd is configured like this:

newcamd:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:11001:1/0000/0000:user:password:0102030405060708091011121314

How do I configure the dvbjcam.readers ?

Apologies and thanks in advance.

Works here. As it wasn't completely clear how to set it up, my steps to help others in the same exercise:

1. Download version 0.0.0.8 from here: https://www.sat4all.com/forums/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=224200
2. Extract the RAR archive using a tool like 7zip: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html to a temporary location
3. Open dvbjam.readers which is among the extracted files from the previous step in notepad
4. Add one of the following sections to the file with your own variables. The first sample is for a CCcam source, the second for a newcamd source (i.e. NewCS). You can add multiple of these sections if you have multiple sources. Note that some card clients only allow 1 connection per username. So if you have multiple tuners, ensure to give each tuner a different dvbjam.readers file with each a different username inside.

Code: Select all
[reader]
label      = cccam
protocol   = cccam
device     = 192.168.1.2, 12345
user       = username
password   = password
audisabled = 0
//chid       = 0604:-270E,-270F,-01F4
blockemm-g = 1
enable     = 1

[reader]
label      = newcs
protocol   = newcamd
key        = yourkeyasconfiguredinnewcs
device     = 192.168.1.3, 12345
user       = username
password   = password
//caid       = 0606
//chid       = 0604:-270E,-270F,-01F4
blockemm-g = 1
audisabled = 1
enable     = 1

4. Stop the dvblink_server Windows Service using i.e. PowerShell: Stop-Service -Name dvblink_server
5. Copy these four files: DVBJCAM.conf, DVBJCAM.dll, DVBJCAM.readers, ReadMe.txt to C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\share\mirror\sources\TVSource-1\plugins. Create the subfolder plugins manually if it doesn't exist yet. Do this for all your tuners listed in C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\share\mirror\sources.
6. Remove any existing plugins you may have been using before (i.e. Acamd) from C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources\TVSource-1\plugins. Do the same for all other tuners you may have under C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\sources.
7. Start the dvblink_server Windows Service using i.e. PowerShell: Start-Service -Name dvblink_server

You should see at the CCCam or NewsCS server connections being made for each tuner now. If you don't or it doesn't work yet, do the following to enable logging:

1. Create a folder Temp on your C drive of the DVBLogic server
2. Open dvbjam.conf located in each of the C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\share\mirror\sources\TVSource-1\plugins folders of each tuner and replace the text with the below text. Ensure to have each tuner create its own file, i.e. logfile = c:\Temp\tuner1.txt, logfile = c:\Temp\tuner2.txt, etc.

Code: Select all
//Remark, remove // to activate line, 0 = off, 1 = on
console = off
log = on
logfile = c:\Temp\tuner1.txt
displaypmt = off
displaycat = off
softcsa = off

3. Restart the dvblink_server Windows Service using i.e. PowerShell: Restart-Service -Name dvblink_server
4. Check if C:\Temp contains the log files for your tuners. Examine their contents in Notepad to see what's going on. On startup of DVBLink it should already show that it's making a connection to your CCcam\NewCs sources. When you tune to a channel, it should give extensive information on where it tries to get a decryption key from and if that was successful.
5. Don't forget to disable logging again once you're done as these log files will get incredibly large. You can switch it off by editing dvbham.conf again in notepad and changing the line log = on to become log = off. Save it, restart the dvblink_server Windows service using i.e. PowerShell: Restart-Service -Name dvblink_server and the logging should no longer happen.

Hi all

If I want to decode 2 channels from same transponer, is the structure then the same as usual?
I cant make it work.

I have changed "Number of simultaneously streamed channels from the same transponder" to 2

C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\share\mirror\sources\TVSource-1\plugins
C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\share\mirror\sources\TVSource-1\plugins1

best regards
