I'll report here any progress.

BTW,
@nexusle: you also moved to kodinerds after mceforum died? I didn't find anything there about this plugin (yet).

Yes, but I moved before the crash of mce-community. MCE-community isn't dead. There are several problems and the admin will speak about it on the Facebook group soon.

... update:
completely hassle free in-place upgrade from 5.5 to 6.0 and replaced acamd with mjcamd
changing my signature now...

...oops
that was too early, it was still using acamd.

After removing acamd plugin and only running with mdjapi --- nothing!
I must be missing something.
I have verified that the mdjapi config files work, by using them in dvbviewer (.dll + .readers)
If I put these two files in share/mirror/tvsource/plugins it does not work!

Anything else that needs to be done?

Also I notice that the dvblink_server.exe spawns sub-processes if it finds plugins in the source/plugins dir.
If I only place them in the mirror/source/plugins dir, no sub processes are spawned, so I am assuming that for some reason it is not picking up or even looking at the mirrors/source/plugins dir

I have this plugin in

The plugins have to be put into <dvblink share directory>/mirror/sources/<your tvsource source>/plugins.

it works as it should.

What is the share_directory??
To be precise, on my system I placed the files in: c:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink\share\mirror\sources\DD1\plugins
Where DD1 is my source (actually DD1...4), since I have 4 of those.

The files I placed in that folder(s) are dvbjcam.conf, .dll, .readers.

These three (actually I don't need .conf) files work, if I use them in DVBViewer, so I know the dll and the conf files are OK.

Is there anything else I need to do in order for DVBLink to use them?

Can it be that I need to reinstall the Tuners from scratch? I did just do an in playe upgrade from a working 5.5 with acmd to 6.02.

My path:

Code: Select all
C:\Program Files\DVBLogic\DVBLink\share\mirror\sources\Satempfang - Tuner 1\Plugins

So I take it you have a 32 bit system and your Tuner is called 'Satempfang - Tuner 1'
That is actually the same as what I have...

Hmm...
dunno whatsS wrong. Maybe someone from DVBlogic can enlighten me what I'm doing wrong.
I looked in the server.log at highest verbosity and I didn't find any mention of either 'share' or 'mirror'.
Only of the 'old' sources/name/plugins folder, where it (currently) is picking up acamd again.

I am NOT going to assume that I need to create a mirror folder under c:\Program Files\ . I am really taking it for granted that DVBL can handle sysWOW correctly (it always has).
However, before I try to reinstall everything from scratch I'd appreciate some kind of hint or confirmation (ideally from DVBlogic), that that would actually be worth a try.

I still suspect that the in-place upgrade from 5.5 to 6 might have something to do with it, but that is just a feeling.

Has anyone using Synology + DVBlink + plugins succesfully?
Thats how far i've got:
I'm using Synology DS716+
DVBlink(14499)
TVSource(14197)
TVButler as tuner
USB smartcard reader
Signal DVB-T
Nimhloths PCSC-Lite
Nimloths OSCAM
And for TVSource plugin(under mirror...) dvbjapi-0.0.0.5-dvblink
FTA channes are workin as expected.

PCSC is working, card is recognised, OSCAM finds the card, DVBlink connects to OSCAM server.
If i try to watch locked channel, i get about 30sec loading screen and back to Kodi menu.

DVBJAPI readers conf:
[reader]
label = thuis1
protocol = cccam
device = 192.168.222.10, 16001
user = dvblink
password = dvblink
audisabled = 0
//chid = 0604:-270E,-270F,-01F4
//blockemm-g = 1
enable = 1
group = 1
ccckeepalive = 1

Have a look at the dvbjcam logs. Maybe you will spot something of interest there.

Not much:
17:12:39: DVBJCAM v0.0.0.5 (MDJAPI v0.3)
17:12:39: Application: DVBLink, v6.x, MDJAPI: 0.3
17:12:39: cccam 0: Init, connectoninit = 1
17:12:39: cccam 0: Clientnode N:CAD288E0107215BA
17:12:39: cccam 0: connecting to 192.168.222.10:16001
17:12:39: cccam 0: Login user dvblink succeed, EMM enabled=true
17:12:39: cccam 0: N:E5D5AAA5108515D3, CCcam version 2.1.4 (build 3191)
17:12:40: cccam 0: ADD 0B00/64/0 0,N:E5D5AAA5108515D3

Is DVBJCAM v0008 suppoused to work under Windows and Linux? I tried different conf. types, not any luck even connecting. For me it is little strange that this plugins should work with dll file under Linux.
