When I try to do a DVB-C channel scan using my TBS5880 USB DVB-T2/T/C CI TV Box-hardware as the source, I always get "tuning failed" on all transponders I try. I'm using DVBLink Server and DVBLink TVSource both of version 4.6.0, but I've also tried to downgrade to version 4.5.2 of both products with the same result.
The transponder file is correct since:
- I also have a TerraTec H7 card and can successfully do a channel scan using DVBLink TVSource, with the same transponder file that gives "tuning failed" with the TBS 5880 card. (the TerraTec card is not "disturbing" the setup since it doesn't work without it attached either)
- I can do a successful channel scan using the TBS software "TBSViewer" together with the same transponder file and the TBS 5880 card. (http://www.tbsdtv.com/download/#tbs_sviewer )
My TBS 5880 card and driver is working since:
- As mentioned above, I can do a successful channel scan using the TBS software "TBSViewer" using the TBS5880 card and I can then successfully view the channels, even the coded ones thanks to my CAM.
So something is wrong with the DVBLink software. One thing I could think of is that it seems like you have had problem with the card before when it is used for DVB-T/T2 (see this thread: https://forum.dvblogic.com/viewtopic.ph ... bcdb213f77 ) that was fixed in version 4.5.2 (?) at least according to the thread. But please note that the card is a DVB-T/T2 and C combination-card and I use DVB-C. Seems like I have a similar problem but for DVB-C use.
Other details of my system:
- TBS5880 driver: TBS5880 DVB-T2/T/C Combined Driver (V1.0.0.5.http://www.tbsdtv.com/download/#tbs5880 ). I've also tested the "TBS5880 DVB-T2/T Windows Driver V1.0.0.5" but that version doesn't seem to be for DVB-C and the combined driver is working since I can watch TV using TBSViewer software.
- Windows 7 pro 64 bit, 16 GB RAM, AMD Athlon II 605e 2,30GHz
I attach the log files where the problem is reproduced several times and at the bottom of the server-log it is reproduces using log level "Info" (log level "Errors and Warnings" in the beginning of the file).
Thanks.
