DVB-T New Zealand Transponder file

Postby Eric » Fri Jul 05, 2013 3:04 am

Hi,

After upgrading TVSource to 4.6.0 from 4.5.3, I noticed that the transponder file (4621.ini) for DVB-T NZ has changed back to the original ini file. I have included both the original and modified files. You could use this for future updates.

Regards

Eric

Hm, trying to understand. The original file finds 19 channels and the new one - 14 channels, right? Are they different or the same? Should the files be merged then?

Hi Oberon

Thanks for your reply.

Sorry for the confusion. When DVBLink TVSource was upgraded to 4.6.0 it installed the default transponder file after I had modified it in 4.5.3 because I found that some of the channels / frequencies where not visible (listed). Eg Channel 36 or 594MHz.

The default transponder file (4621 original.ini) was for DVB-T frequencies prior to June 2012, but after this date has the channels / frequencies were changed as shown by this URL. http://www.freeviewshop.co.nz/information/technical/digital-terrestrial-i-8.html.

To recap
Prior June 2012 - 19 channels / frequencies are used for DVB-T - 4621 original.ini

After June 2012 - 14 channels / frequencies are used for DVB-T - 4621 modified.ini

oberon, please update New Zealand DVB-T to the new list, nobody in NZ uses that old list anymore, it did not find any proper channels. the old list wasted 3 days of my time until I found this thread in google after 3 days of searching. here is the proper list that works for me as at today; 25th Oct 2015, please make sure it makes your next update. thanks. because I updated to v5.5 today and the new list did not arrive.
