All licenses have expired

Postby AlexNathan345 » Fri Aug 03, 2012 2:54 pm

Dear DVBLogic team,

Why do all my product licenses (v4.1) show as 'expired'? I bought the product(s) months or even a year ago and they were working fine ever since...

Connect Server, EPG loader for DigiGuide and TV Source all say 'trial expired' and have a cross next to them - please let me know how to fix this urgently.

Thanks,
Alex

write an e-mail to info at dvblogic.com.
most probably your hardware has been changed and that caused licenses to revert to trial mode

Will do, but my hardware hasn't changed in the past 6 months. This is really annoying as I wanted to record stuff this afternoon which I now cannot do!

Make sure that you have onboard NIC enabled, even if you do not use it.

I'm sorry but I can only re-iterate that NOTHING of my setup has changed for months, no new hardware, no new settings, no new software, nothing.

So why would the software suddenly stop working??? And what is NIC please?

network adapter. fingerprint of v4.1 is coupled to MAC address and if you have a usb network adapter then different mac can be chosen on reboot.

I didn't even know what you're talking about so none of this has changed, 100% sure. Same network card (D-link PCI), same drivers...

Anyway, I missed my recordings now, hope I'll get a resolution soon from the email I sent to the info address. Not very happy... :(

Please read one more time what I have written below.
Enable your onboard network adapter in BIOS. You may not know what it is, but it might help you not to miss recordings in the future.

Why do I have to enable a hardware device I do not use? And why does it have to be enabled now (it never was in the past 6 months or so) although the products were working fine until today?

Excuse me, but I really don't like your suggestion that the whole thing is my fault. I haven't changed anything, and the products I paid for stopped working suddenly. I'm pretty sure that you should help me sort this out quickly so I can keep using what I paid for, there's still no reply to my email...
