Ive did the manual, but when I scan for channels, it finds all channels but it says "No Signal" on every IPTV link...

Any suggestion?

Did you go trough the guide carefully?
On DVBLink 4.0.1 the port must be set to 8081
Have you set the channels to free to air?
Did you change the ID when you use multiple streams?

Hey,

I have used 8081 indeed.
Also editted with wordpad and editted all <fta>0</fta> to <fta>1</fta>
and then run the VBS file.

Also when I check DVBLink file in MediaPortal folder, I see all the channels.
When Im searching for channels, it goes through all 249 channels, but keeps saying, No Signal..

If you want to log on remotely, that's possible. Let me know how you think about it.

Thanks.

i see your problem, its not the dvblink fta switch you have to change its the mediaportal exported xml file you should change FreeToAir"FALSE" to FreeToAir"TRUE"-

go trough the guide from the start and if you uncomfortable with the whole xml part do it the manual slow way.

HI pjotr,

please help me out, i really dont understand it anymore.

I understand that I changed the wrong file. Do I need to undo this? or it doesn't matter?
Which file do I need to edit??

I have a M3U file with DVBLink.m3u in the folder of Team MediaPortal in ProgramData with all the links to the TV channels?
What step did I forget please tell me in EASY terms!

Or can we Skype or so to finalize this for me?

THanks!!

Revert the changes you have done to your xml file or reinstall everything.

For DVBLink v4.0.1 Use port 8081

Follow these instructions.

1. Configure DVBLink v4.01 to fit your DVBLink needs.
2. Install MediaPortal (TVServer).
3. Download the DVB-IP patch for the TVServer part. (Follow the instructions on the page for installing it)
http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/gener ... ter-96726/

Configure the script file to suit your needs.

Now load up MP Server Config goto TV Servers > <YourServersName> in the top of the right column make sure you have at least one DVBIP card active.
Go to the DVBIP card to scan and choose the tuning file you created DVBLink.Comhem.
Make sure the checkboxes are unchecked and then press scan and your channels will show up.
After the scan go to the TV Channels > Channels tab and make sure ALL your channels are GREEN (Free to Air) THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!
If the channels are red (Crypted) you wont get any picture.
Changing the channels to FTA is as simple as right clicking the channel and choose edit channel and tick Free to Air checkbox.

All done for singel tuner setup!!!

And change the channels to free to air this manual way instead of going trough the export import part.

Im sorry but i dont have time to help you in any other way for the moment, i might have some time during late friday.. but for now ive shortened down the guide for you to make it simpler.

Good Luck!

Hi Pjotr,

Here is what I did cause It doesn't seem to work;

I configured DVB link again and scanned all channels (again)
I selected channels I need, I checked the file dvblink_channel_storage.xml in the dvblink folder of program files.
I see all FTA has gone to normal state again after I did my change.

I already installed DVB-IP patch I did this manual last time, so I skip it this time.

I had downloaded DVBLink2m3u.vbs already to the program files folder
I open it in Wordpad, edit the settings which is good.
Opened the VBS
For the test I told him to add DVBLink1.m3u

I check the Team MediaPortal folder and there is DVBLink1.m3u

I open MP TV Server config and Checked DVBLink IPTV Source Filter is Enabled

So far so good I hope?

So I click on the tuner, choose DVBLink1 and right click on Scan for Channels

Still no signal.........

I hang here, cause channels won't be visible for me, so i never have the option to make it FREETOAIR

What am I missing? I tried to open the .m3u in VLC. also not working??

Please help me getting crazy of this :(

Thanks for your help once again.

Also tried to change port manually to 8081 once, also no luck.

Hi,

I've been using DVBLink v3 for some months with MediaPortal and tried to upgrade to v4 by following this guide. My progress so far:

1. Uninstalled DVBLink v3
2. Installed DVBLink v4, configured it and scanned for channels. Everything works fine and I can preview the channels in VLC.
3. Since port 8080 is occupied by another server (iPiMP) I've changed the streaming port to 8888
4. I've updated the IPTV-filter in MediaPortal.
5. I've created the m3u-file with the script from the first post
6. When I scan for channels MP check each and eveyone of them but can't find any signal on any of the channels. When I try to open the channels in VLC I get a timeout.

Windows firewall is disabled, there's no other firewalls or anti-virus software installed. I don't know what to check for next, any pointer is more than welcome!
