Hi,

thanks for this release. I have two questions regarding the version for Mac OS X.
1. Is it supporting plugins?
2. Will it be possible to use the sundtek cards as the support the Linux DVB stack see here: http://support.sundtek.com/index.php/topic,543.0.html

Thanks again fro clarification and your support here.

Regards
Vlaves

No and No.
The plugins are not supported and the only supported tuners are DVBLogic TVButler, sat2ip receivers and HDHomeRun network tuners.

Hi Oberon,

Few questions about this software:

-Will plugins be supported in near future? I am using a dreambox as a softcam, or do you have an alternative?
-Is there any DVB-S2 tuner available for OSX? Couldn't find any.

I have a OSX server at home, and it would be great to use it for DVB-link.

Thank you.

Just to be clear: Can I watch TV by using my (Canal Digitaal) subscription card with something like acamd or Smargo?
I am getting a bit confused here.

Thanks,
Stef

It could be that i do not understand something fully, but DVBLink server on the Mac OS X works only with Network tuners and TVButler tuner. Plugins for decrypting are not supported, at least at the moment.

Thank you. I have ordered Elgato 4Sat for my osx server, but wasn't aware that there's no decryption possibility. Are there any short term plans for plugins, just like windows?

thanks

Same question, can we expect decrypting with CI cards (/oscam) anytime soon on the OSX version? :)

Great to see a Mac version out. The range of tuners is small - any chance you might support the Elgato EyeTV Diversity? I would swap from EyeTV to DVBLink in a flash!

Unfortunately, It is not planned, at least at the moment.
