TVAdviser NL/DK: EPG correctness and completeness

We are investigating the EPG correctness/completeness issues together with our EPG provider for Dutch and Danish TV channels.

For this we need examples of the EPG data that is not correct or not complete.

We would like to ask you to submit here the examples of such a data.

Thank you!

How much info do you need, Oberon?

Do you just need a couple of examples?
All channels, or just a couple?
Screendumps of the programs?

Later tonight, I can do a description of one or two channel (the worst ones), if that is ok?
This will be for the DK Adviser.

Let's star with 2-3 samples. We'll see if we will need more.

Here are a few of the errors from my EPG for today. Just a few - there are plenty to take from.
Screendumps are in the Dropbox-link below.

DR3_1: No description
DR3_2: Even less description
DR3_3: Same

Kanal5_1, _2, _3, _4: Four Episodes of Big Bang Theory in a row. All got the same episode-number, but different titles. On TimeFor.TV episode-numbers are shown as 185, 186, 187 and 188. Some days TV Advisor shows "Season 9, Episode 904", some days: "Episode 9, Episode 4" (like today), and some days: "Episode 185".

TV2DKHD_1: No description
TV2DKHD_2: PERFECT!!! (=The way I would like it shown every time)

EDIT: Do you need a copy of my recorder DB? Or maybe a fresh logfile?

It is under investigation currently.
If you have some more of the recent examples, please post them here.

Are you done with the screendumps in Dropbox?
Then I will delete them, and put in some new ones.

There's plenty of new examples to give you. There are errors on basicly every channel every day.

Are there any news on this topic??

It's now 3 months ago, since I reported the errors in TV Adviser DK.
And it's still close to useless. Full of errors in descriptions, episode numbering, missing descriptions. Wrong start times for programs, and so on.
So I would like to know, what is the plans to make things work properly?

Are there any alternatives to TV Adviser for us Danish users?

Any news here??

A little hint to try and help things move a little faster:

Download the app from this site http://info.tvsideview.sony.net/en_ww/
Set it to YouSee (my provider), and compare the info there to the EPG data from your own provider.

Hi Oberon!

Last answer from you (March 11): "Working on it"

Now more than two months later: Any news?

I first reported the errors in November '15 - 7 months ago.

Do you need more examples? Will there bee an improvement in the upcoming DVBLink V6?
Or will this just never get any better?

Looking forward to hear back from you - and more than just "working on it" :)
