Use possible DVB-C PCI card under Linux?

Postby krokodile2000 » Wed Apr 29, 2015 7:43 pm

Hello,

I try on the Server Settings my PCI DVB-C set up card under Linux, but find under sources only ever irgendewelche settings XMLTV. Is it at all possible PCI card to use with DVBLink under Linux? I think just getting instructions for Win Media Center.

The system:
TV chip: SAA7146 (rev 01) (works fine with Kaffeine)
OS: Debian Jessie
DVBLink: Version 5.1

Maybe I did get lucky and someone can help me of you, because actually I find the solution super :-)

If there are drivers for your SAA7146 in Video4Linux then it may work.
if you see only XMLTV at TV Sources tab, it mean that you have forgotten to install DVBLink TV source.
NETGEAR RNDU2000; Synology DS112j, DS 212j, DS213+, DS 712+; Western Digital WD ex2; Asustor AS3, RPI2 ...
PCTV 460,461e,292e; TT 4400, 4650CI;DVBSKy S960; DD octopus net; Inverto sat2ip multibox; TBS DVB-C ...

Hello,

I have not installed any drivers, the card works "out of the box", the following devices are present: /dev/video0 and /dev/dvb/adapter0/...

DVBLink TVSource I installed (see Pic1) and enabled, it is also. I suspect that I have a problem with the drivers, I'll see if there are there other drivers. Strangely I find only does not have the map /dev/dvb/adapter0/... is found - but is the default path.
