Error when trying to record from EPG.

Postby billdo » Thu Feb 05, 2015 8:04 pm

Hi. I'm running version 5.1 on Ubuntu 14.04.1, 32-bit with a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-850 tuner card.

My problem is recording within EPG. I click on the program I went to record, which opens the synopsis and title. Then I click the "record" button.

This is what I see. Rather than send you all of the logs, I tailed both "dvblink_server.log" and "dvblink_webserver.log" while I clicked "record". I am running a Logitech Squeezebox server on this same computer. Based on the logs below, I'm thinking that maybe there's a port conflict or something? How would I resolve this?

dvblink_server.log:

Can you please set log level to info, restart dvblink server, reproduce the issue and attach zipped log file here?
Does you use some EPG loaders?
NETGEAR RNDU2000; Synology DS112j, DS 212j, DS213+, DS 712+; Western Digital WD ex2; Asustor AS3, RPI2 ...
PCTV 460,461e,292e; TT 4400, 4650CI;DVBSKy S960; DD octopus net; Inverto sat2ip multibox; TBS DVB-C ...

Sure. BTW: I forgot to mention this, but I get the "general error happened" error windows when I experience the issue.

I'll reproduce the issue and then post the "info" level logs later this evening.

I only use the free EPG source (I forget what it's called - I'll get that info too).

Logs are attached. The EPG is XMLTV.

I just installed build 11069, and the problem seems to have gone away. Problem solved!
