i experience some weird behavior, recorded programs can be played, but movement is not smooth, looks like motion stutter. Could this be jumboframes? Also the live streams cannot be played.

What type of processor does your tv have? I have found no problems on the 2014 quad core TV. Could that be the problem?

Hi.

First of all thank you for developing this app to allow viewing iptv on the Samsung TVs.

I confirm that the app works properly on my UE40H6410SU.

However I experiende a weird behaviour that does not happen when I use the WMC client or the IOS client.

While changing the channels I have problems randomly, sometimes when I try to change the channel the new channel fails to stream, and I can see on the server monitoring that the previous channel is still being transmitted, until this connection is not ended I am not able to stream the new channel.

Is anyone experiencing this issue with this client.

My server runs on raspberry pi (5.1)

Thanks in advance. Regards

Hello,
all worked fine and could live with the "known issues".
It all stopped with the upgrade of DVB logic to dvblink server 51 build 11035
and dvblink tvsource 51 build 11035.

I did not save the previous version and I cannot go back. I would be grateful if you could send me these files.

log file attached

Hardware I use:
Synology 214play, Samsung UE55F8000ATX upgraded to 2014 with evolution kit SPD2000

The client DVBlink application on the Smart TV does not connect with the server any more.
3/4 minutes after opening the application of the smart tv it comes with a message that I need to install the DVB server application on my synology box. The settings to point to the server is still ok. IT worked fine before witht the same settings,

Hi, I got my new TV, a Samsung UE55H7505.

Does anyone know how to login as a developer on that TV version, it look like they have a new software comparing to the tutorials?

Hi,

Is there still active development on this Samsung SmartTV Client?
It is for a long time available as beta/review release with limited functionality.
I think a finalized version with some additional functionality, like available within a common browser, would be very welcome!

When the beta/preview version is updated on the server with ip 78.47.18.43, is the app on my TV automatically updated or do I have to update manually?

Kind regards,
Rene.

Hi Oberon

Just to let you, I have just managed to add your app to my Samsung Blu-ray Player Model: BD-F7500/XU.

Issues: When playing back a recording from a HD Channel that contains 5.1 Sound and Commercials the sound becomes corrupt at the point where the film starts and switches sound from Stereo to 5.1 and or when commercials start/end. Its like it gets confused about the sound stream when it switches sound outputs. Same issue with Plex Plugin and if you use DLNA. So it looks like its a problem with the Way DVBLogic Record the Sound Stream or its a player issue!

Not Tried Live TV as yet but will update when I do.

As there is no new development planned for this client, the topic is unpinned.
