Un-Requested Recording Showing up on Guide Only

I just noticed that a un-requested recording is showing up only on the guide; however, it is not in the scheduled recording list.

The show is entitled : The Big Bang Theory

I never scheduled it and if I delete it, then the preceding/subsequent series "CTV News Toronto" schedule is deleted.

I will update this thread, after 8:00 PM, to report if this show "The Big Bang Theory" has recorded.

Update: The Big Bang Theory show is indeed recorded.

Now, if this is not strange enough, take a look at how KODI groups this show - with CTV NEWS Toronto?

How is this happening?

And was it really Big Bang ... ? Or CTV NEWS Toronto but named as Big Bang

Yes - the contents was really "The Big Bang".

Here are my observations on this occurrence:

1) If I use the Guide to schedule a wanted TV show Series; (e.g.: CTV News Toronto).
2) A un-requested recording will show up ONLY on the initial day of scheduling; (e.g.: The Big Bang).
3) The un-requested TV show does not show up on subsequent days.
4) The un-requested TV show occurs 2-hours after the start of the selected scheduled TV show Series.

Due to this oddity, I now implicitly input TV shows into the scheduling rules - except for CTV News Toronto since it is shown three times per day.

Could be that somebody has external access to your DVBLink setup if nobody in your household has scheduled The Big Bang recording....
