DVBLogic Viewer on 5.5.0... or Player

Postby sigrob » Thu Oct 06, 2016 6:08 pm

I am confused. :?:
I am trying to set-up a PC with win10 after anniversary update to run DVBLink Viewer. The DVBLink Server is on another PC (server). Web browsers on win10 PC can access TV and Media Library web page SERVER-IP:8100/tvguide/ but DVBLink Viewer can not connect "unable to connect..." thus failing to start. Do I need DVBLink Player installed on server and can I install it on 5.5.0 setup.

If you already have a DVBLink server then you need a DVBlink Viewer on the another PC in order to connect to this server. But, dvblink server should be V6.x for working with the DVBLink viewer. You still may use the VLC player or web UI or other dvblink client.

The DVBLink Player is a stand alone free app for desktops. It does not have a network streamer. Works only on single PC.
